Traditional methods fashioning good men and excellent citizens through patrolcraft.
Making the Spirituality of Catholic Scouting visible to the world.
Patrol Method: teams of 6 to ten boys who make patrol craft work.
Uniforms: equality, fraternity, and professionalism reinforced every moment, not forced.
Badges and Awards: striving for skills and excellence.
Hiking 75 miles of through fields, forests, across rivers and into towns, boys on the Crescent to Sheen pilgrimage visit the tombs of a Roman martyr, a missionary-priest, six bishops of Peoria, and the family graves and tomb of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen.
Stopping at one river, two lakes, 6 parishes, three cemeteries, and two saint tombs, this pilgrimage is perfect for boys who love the outdoors and the faith.
